ASAP: Page not Loading
-
Good morning,
I installed and activated your plugin yesterday, kept everything in the default settings and the Page Speed Insights went high quite significantly so that’s exciting.
However, I am not able to see the website anymore because it doesn’t load. I’ve tried both my laptop and phone and all I get is the loading image. Based on data from Google Analytics, it seems like not everyone has the same issue since there are visitors interacting with the site.
Could you please help me with a solution so I can actually see our own website? This is a time sensitive matter.
Thanks,
Adam-

Hey dropletmarketing; the site works for me, but I don’t see Autoptimize referenced in the HTML source so either you disabled it or for some reason (page caching?) it has not trickled down to anonymous users yet?
Hi, thank you for your response. I have disabled it because I needed to work on the website.
OK, if you have a staging-website maybe enable it there so I can diagnose?
If not; first and foremost try to identify what is breaking things by just disabling CSS or JS or HTML or Image optimization (incl. lazyload) and based on the outcome of that we can decide what next steps should be.
hope this helps,
frankI have enabled again so you can check out what is happening. Right after I activated the plugin, the website stays at the “Relax, site loading” page.
Update: I tried disabling each option and it turned out that everything works fine when “Optimise JavaScript Code” is disabled so that narrows it down a bit.
Morning dropletmarketing, afraid I was off to bed when you enabled it, but good to see you narrowed it down to JS for starters! Next up; when JS it optimized, what errors do you see on the browser console?
No worries at all. I’m not sure what you mean exactly but these are the messages I get:
(index):1 Refused to apply style from ‘https://www.droplet-trailer.com/wp-content/mu-plugins/gd-system-plugin/assets/css/admin-bar.min.css?ver=3.16.4’ because its MIME type (”) is not a supported stylesheet MIME type, and strict MIME checking is enabled.

Waypoint
oraccordion
in it, but Firefox debugger does not provide a URL for the file(s) so I’m kind of stuck.so let’s take another approach, can you try adding each of the following (but one at a time, not simultaneously);
*wp-content/themes
*wp-content/plugins
*wp-includes
and test which one makes the page .. tick?
