• Hi guys, I just made a new site, it was working fine until now. My site will not load properly until i hit the refresh button (works fine on preview but not on live site). I’ve been reading up on the issue and i found out that it could probably be a caching issue. I have however cleared cache, pruged cache multiple times and even re-imported the site with my backup. Could it just be the cache? or could it also be a plugin conflict? Plugins i have that i suspect might be causing the problems include : media cleaner, swift performance, smush. Im completely new at this so id apppreciate any help that comes along! thanks alot guys!

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • It is likely swift performance. Can you disable that, clear your caches (including your local browser cache) and try again?

    Hi Malcolm, thanks for the suggestion, i just tried that but it still doesnt seem to work… i was thinking if i should just uninstall and reinstall wordpress

    Your website is still trying to pull in files that don’t exist when I view it. Are you using a CDN or Cloudflare or anything that might be caching your site off of your server that might be creating this issue?

    Hi Malcolm the pages that my website is trying to get to aren’t there because I didn’t back those up. Therefore, since I re-imported my website they are missing, but I can fix that on my own.
    No I’m not using any CDN. I am using hostgator for my website server and secureAX is where i get my domain from if that applies in any case.

    I mean, I’m still seeing:

    <link rel="stylesheet" href="//dmscontracts.com.sg/wp-content/cache/swift-performance/dmscontracts.com.sg/css/f502b44ddb88905be10422ee3fe3646b.css" media="all"><script src="//dmscontracts.com.sg/wp-content/cache/swift-performance/dmscontracts.com.sg/js/2c6f3ee717153fc3a17af174b2fbdeb5.js" type="text/javascript"></script> <!--Cached with Swift Performance Lite-->

    Oh does that mean I didn’t properly deactivate swift performance? (Sorry if I’m asking very silly questions, I’m still not very aquainted with these things)
