Hi,
I’ve read all the previous questions regarding why the 404 page might not show. I don’t have WPML. I’ve deactivated all plugins to test if any are not compatible, including ‘Redirect’. Permalinks are set to postname.
I can’t switch to another theme unless I download one. I’m using Hazel via themeforest.
Do I have any option left so I can get this page working? At the moment it goes to the correct theme page (i.e. not WordPress 404), with logo and menus at the top but not the custom 404 page I’ve set up.
Can you help?

You are right,

there is no content. But I can’t see any problems in the HTML.

Must be something special with the theme. Because you are using a paid premium theme I don’t have access to it. I could take a look at it but I would need access to the theme files. Are you willing to give me FTP access to your server? If so please send me credentialis via https://smartware.cc/contact/. Of course I’d only need reading permission.

thanks for your inquiry. I did not get the credentials and found out that there was a problem with the contact form. No idea why. It surely worked a month ago… Should be solved now. Please send again. Thanks.
