• i am using a server which has given me problems. Ie, i cant install wordpress themes directly even though i installed wordpress onto my website.

In addition, everytime i change a theme, or wish to install a plugin, i need to transfer it via ftp.

Hence, does this mean, that when i create a new page on my dashboard, i will face problems? Given the problem, that means that i need to transfer the new page via ftp again right>?

Some server configurations disable PHP’s ability to upload and move remote files, so WordPress uses FTP instead to install themes and plugins. Pages and posts, on the other hand, are stored in the database and handled via MySQL. Therefore, you will not need FTP to publish pages and posts.
