First of all, this is a very fine theme, we use it to run an academic journal managed by students.
Well, I’m not sure if this is a theme related problem, but nevertheless I appreciate any help: in the ‘General’ Settings, I changed the “WordPress Address (URL)” (example: https://www.hostserver.com/mywordpress) to a different “Site Address (URL)” (example: https://www.mywordpress.com).
Everything works fine except the ‘wp_pagenumbers’ function: if the number os posts in a page exceeds the value defined in “Blog pages show at most…”, the page numbers buttons (“1 2 3 … 5 ?”) does not correctly reflects the changes in the “Site Address (URL)” field.
For example, the “page 2” button gets this link (https://www.mywordpress.com/mywordpress/?cat=4&paged=2) instead of ‘https://www.mywordpress.com/?cat=4&paged=2’ as it should be. This one works fine, the other returns a ‘page not found’ error.

    Many thanks for any hint!

  • Hello albertosa,

thanks for downloading MH Magazine lite.

Pagination and permalinks are working fine for this theme. We can’t reproduce your issue and there are no other users with the same issue. So I think it is something related to your site / settings.

Please check your permalink settings again and see if everything was set properly. Saving the permalink settings again, might also solve your issue. Here is more information: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Using_Permalinks

Your issue might also be related to caching plugins. If you are getting served a cached site with the old urls, you would have exactly the issue as described. So please check if you are using any caching plugins and if yes, please disable them or clear the cache and also the cache of your browser. This might also fix it.

I wish you a nice day.

    Regards
    Michael
