Page of Posts in the Autofocus Theme

Hey,

I just got a website with WordPress and downloaded the Autofocus theme. I’ve been working on my site for a couple of week and just have one more thing I want to do. I’m trying to create several pages to look like the home page – that is, have links to posts. For example: I want to be able to put the thumbnails of my portrait image posts on the “Life” page, not the home page (just want the links to the pages on the home page) and the thumbnails of my travel landscape image posts on the “Terrain” page.

I read this https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Pages and tried to use it’s code for creating pages of posts, but even with a bit of tweaking I couldn’t get it to work (it probably doesn’t help that I also cannot figure out how to create a new template file – do I need Autofocus pro to do this or am I just blind?).
