    After upgrading from .4.6 to .5.0 there is an issue where links within page posts and widgets are not updated. As an example, all of the navigation links are correctly changed from “localhost/8888” to “www.mydomain.com” BUT all of the links within page posts are being left as “localhost/8888”. I checked the advanced tab during the second step of moving the site and everything is selected to be updated. I LOVE Duplicator and went back using .4.6 and all the page post links are converted as expected. Hopefully the bug in .0.5 will get ironed out.

  • Hey RCDG,

    If you want to submit a support ticket I can work closer with you. There has been quite a bit of testing and that issues has never came up, so it maybe something particular to your setup that I would need to validate…

    Cheers~

    Awesome, like I said I use Duplicator all the time so that’s great to hear. Will there be a posting once the fix is ready? BTW I made a donation in appreciation your plugin is a real asset to my work flow!

    Hey RCDG,

    Awesome! Thxs for helping out… The fix should be updated, I just tested locally. If you can give the developer version a try it may have your fixes for the issue your seeing. The very latest version (0.5.1) can be found by following these instructions:

    -> Browse to https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/duplicator/developers/
    -> Look for the section “Other Versions”
    -> Click on “Development Version” and download the zip plugin file
    -> Uninstall your current version and install this one
    -> Note: This is a development line version so please test in your sandbox first to make sure you have no issues…

    Let me know if this solves your issue…

    Thanks

    So glad this got fixed, I had to roll back to 0.4.6 to get it to keep working properly. I was experiencing the same problem.

    Thanks for the prompt fix. Are you going to push this to production?

    Yes as soon as I can get a few more validations that it works on other systems…

    This is now fixed in 0.5.1
