    Hi,
did anybody notice how Twenty Seventeen page displays on Googlebot?
On Google Search Console, you can have a rendering of how Googlebot visualize the page. I use it to test pages
the Twenty Seventeen: header image looks like with a 500% zoom, and page render shows only header image and top menu and nothing else (the post / homepage does not exist)
    Hope I ‘ve explained.
Anyone want to check it with google.com/webmasters/tools/googlebot-fetch-details
If anyone has an idea why the googlebot render so ugly…
    thanks,
    Lorenza

    Hi please:
my theme is the official Twenty Seventeen (not a Child), so… I can imagine that my experience is a common experience.
I’m talking about the homepage, where I have displayed a 2000×1200 px header image, as suggested in the customization.
My homepage is a static frontpage.
    If I fetch as Googlebot
(using the “fetch as googlebot” on the Google Search Console)
I can see that the googlebot renders only the header (header image + navigation bar with top menu), and does not fecth anything else from the site-content.
This occurs on homepage while the other post / pages, where the header image is displayed as a banner, are fetched entirely.

So… the question is: maybe that googlebot crawl only header image and menu on the homepage?
It can be very important to understand if on homepage googlebot does not see anything more than this!
can anybody else test the homepage with googlebot??
    Many thanks
