how can I create a page that is only visible by a username?

Unfortunately at present we don’t have a feature to cater for what you are looking for. However we do have an addon that allows you to protect partial content or a section based on a user’s ID. Please check the following documentation to learn more.

All content found between the two shortcodes will be visible in the front-end only to the registered user (subscriber) with ID “1”

User registered with any role and ID “2” will not be able to view the content in the front-end

However, the user with ID “2” will be able to read the contents of the page from the backend. How can I hide it?

Will I be able to insert a personalized message informing all users that the content is confidential?

Will shortcodes work even if placed on a password protected page?

It’s a construction site. In the future there may be registered users with different roles. Mine was a guess about a problem that may arise.

I understand your concern. However it is best to create a support ticket about a current issue. Please create a new support thread if an issue occurs in the future.
