Page Revision Made Page Disappear/404 Error Code

  • I made a couple changes on a page/sub category I’ve had published since 2015. Once I went to check it as a reader would, it disappeared and gave a 404 error. I can find it as admin, but never as a viewer. I looked at my menu and the page is there. I use Microsoft Edge, but switched to Chrome. I receive the same error message.

    I even copied/pasted the content and created a new page, placed it on menu, but the page is still coming up as an error.

    Thanks for any suggestions. I did update plug-ins and one theme before doing this, but everything else seems to be working.

    404 indicates failure to communicate with the server. Reasons for this failure to communicate with the server can vary.

    Does rest of the site work normally?

    I’ll look at that link, thank you.

    The only other page not working is right under that page. The parent page works fine. The first sub page doesn’t, neither does the second.
