Page Sitemap contains only the domain URL.

    My sitemap contains post sitemap and page sitemap. Post sitemap has all the post links but the page sitemap has only the domain URL, no pages.
    This is the same case with 2 of my sites. Both sites are on different hosting, different themes, and different caching plugins.
    Purged the caches and double checked. Issue still persists.
    The pages are Contact US and Privacy policy pages. These pages are set to no-index but to follow.
    When the pages are set to index, then it is showing in page sitemap. But when it is set to NoIndex but to follow, it again vanishes from the sitemap.

    I have checked other websites using the yoast plugin and checked the source code of their pages. Those pages even after setting NoIndex-Follow, are shown in the sitemap.

    This is a recent issue which my site audit alerted me about.

    The sitemap should only contain URLs that are to be indexed. By setting the pages to noindex, Yoast SEO automatically removes them from the sitemap.
