Page Status “Publish” Not available

  • hello,
    I would like to add pages to my blog in my header area – all of my templates are up to date etc. but when I create the new page i am not even given the option of publishing the page – it only says private or draft..
    Help?!

  • Are you sure you’re an admin for this particular blog? Lower user levels are able to write but not publish, perhaps you gave yourself a lower user level or inadvertently created a new user for yourself after admin and only set yourself to Author.

    Can you confirm that you’re the author?

    I was set as the administrator – that is also author right?
    I ended up reverting back to a past version of WP.. my site was down longer than i wanted and i had no responses..

    It’s ok.. ill have to live with a lesser version..
