Page Stubs in 2.5RC1?

  • I remember that in previous versions I was able to put a shorter name for a page into an input field, I think it was called a “stub”.
    It was nice, as a “page” was able to have a short name for the tab (like ‘wordpress’), while the actual displayed title was much longer (like ‘my crappy plugins for wordpress’).

    Is there a keyword for this? Am I missing something?

  • The page slug editable field should appear after you enter the page title and then move into the body of the page.

    For some, the editable field does not appear until after you actually publish the page, then manage/edit the page and the page slug field will appear for sure. (This is not how it’s supposed to work; but it works this way for some.)
