    Hi

    Are page templates supported?

    Yes, you can even synchronize them in Settings > Languages > Settings tab > Synchronization.

    Ty for quick reply ??
    Is there any information how to properly set the template? I have only found this https://polylang.wordpress.com/documentation/setting-up-a-wordpress-multilingual-site-with-polylang/synchronization-of-meta-content/

    How should I name a file? Currently I have page-kontakt.php as main file for contacts page, and it works ok but english version is calling regular page.php file. I have turned on options for sync and nothing happened. I have also tried refreshing permalinks.

    Have you put in your page-kontakt.php the template’s name:

    <?php /* Template Name: Example Template */ ?>

    And do you see your template in the “Template” dropdown in the “Page Attributes” metabox?

    I did that just now and it works if I select the correct template. But do you mean I have to select it like this for every page, I thought Polylang would somehow automatically be aware of what template file it should use? Because I am not sure if I understand what is synchronization doing. This works even if I turn off all sync options.
    Sorry if it is a retarded question ??

    You can now synchronize this template between your translations. The synchronization’s page template works the same way as the synchronization’s taxonomies, featured image, page parents …

    EDIT: Don’t forget to mark your topic as “resolved”. Thanks.
