Generally, with most themes you will see a option for a template layout such as right sidebar or full width. If you are in the WordPress backend and go to the IDX tab >> General you should see a section called Display Settings and it will look something like this: https://prntscr.com/ard43a. In here you will be able to choose the template page that you would like for the listings to display on such as Default for my theme. The default layout is full width, but I do have some other options to choose from: https://prntscr.com/ard4n7. If you do not see this on your side of things in terms of select able options from the drop down, you may want to do one of the following:
Option 1: You can code your own custom template layout similar to one of the ones that you are seeing on on the default 2016 theme or other similar theme. In doing this, you would allow for this new template to be the default template for all IDX related pages. (Unfortunately, we would not be able to support the coding or addition of this to the theme. The theme developer may be able to help you with adding your own template file)
Option 2: You may want to look into a different theme if you are going in that direction at all. This would not be ideal if you have bought a theme however since you can generally not get your funds back from a theme author.
