Page Template Option Missing

    I’m using WordPress 3.0.1 Multisite and I’m trying to assign a template to a page. The option, however, is missing! There is no dropdown where the “Page Attributes” pane is.

    Any ideas?

  • Are you sure your theme has template pages to select?

    If the template pages are new, activate another theme or the default theme, and then activate your theme again, sometimes the template pages are not picked up.

    I also prefer the dropdown on quick edit, Pages > Pages and Quick Edit, Templates

    You were absolutely right! I deactivated and reactivated the theme in the super admin and the template dropdown’s back.

    Appreciate it! I had a feeling it was something I was doing…

    No Problem, I was caught out a few times adding template files via ftp, but not since “WordPress 3”, and I thought it was resolved!
