Page Template Samples

I am looking for a sample template like the single page sample that would basically pull all of the entries in a given post type, order them, drop them in a table, and provide pagination. I am wanting to be able to format my dates & times.

I have a custom content type called logentry. In that post type there are numerous entries and I want to be able to display them in a table on a page where I can control all of the formatting.
