Page Template selection broken after WP6.0

I have a file in my theme called page-frontend.php that I’ve assigned to the Account page in the admin panel.
It loads correctly when I select My Account from navigation, but when I click any of the account tabs it ignores the page template selected, and loads the account page using a regular page.php.
