Page Template wont apply

whats worse is that I have deleted the page ‘food’ on the backend but i can still totally access the page https://dev.armadillosicecreamshoppe.com/food (password above if you want to see).

I think im going crazy. too many hours in front of the computer…. or its a weird issue between my permalinks and my database.

Never post your password or other credentials in a public forum. Go and change your password immediately.

I can even have a page called “food-2” and the templates work

Either change the template name or the page name so that they do not match and try again.

the password is just to view the site. holds no real security risk. i’ll try changing the template name

Did not help. It still doesnt explain why I can delete the page from WordPress but still access it when I navigate to the url. weird right?

Cleared cache and cookies? Tried another browser/ computer?

I wish it were that easy ?? tried 4 different browsers. cleared cache and cookies.

When you visit https://dev.armadillosicecreamshoppe.com/food/ , you see this: https://i.imgur.com/3vIA8Yc.png, BUT if I could apply a template to it from the page editor, it would look similar to this: https://i.imgur.com/KAbfQTJ.png
