• I rebuilt my site with 2.7 https://www.icmcc.org. I used quite a number of pages with their proper template. All these templates are in the default theme folder.
After installing 2.7.1. all pages are still perfectly working.
However, the template box only shows: default – archives – links. None of the other templates is shown. Both old and newly added templates are not recognised anymore.

Is there any explanation of advice?

  • with ftp can you still see theme templates?
    If so, reset your permalinks
    admin – settings – permalinks

I can see them via ftp. I tried resetting permalinks to default, to no avail.
I do have a testdatabse, still running under 2.7 and there it works like a charm…

Is there already a solution for this problem? I have a similar problem. I have WP 2.7.1 and i created some templates. Today I added another one, but suddenly all of my templates are gone. Including the default templates (I still can see them on my FTP).

I already removed the new template, and tried reseting the permalinks. Both didnt work.

    fixed it:

Sometimes it is necessary to switch to the WordPress Default Theme, then back to your theme, for the Template choices to appear!

    That worked for me
