Page templates stopped working

    I just added a new Page to a WordPress site, and by some inexplicable reason, all my page templates stopped working. They show up in the little page template drop-down menu, and I can select them there, but when I visit the site I only get the standard page.php page, not my custom page template.

    Any ideas? I am lost.

    I seem to have solved it by changing the name of the page templates, and choosing the “new templates” for each page. No idea why it’s working now, but it is.
