Page Text Content Above SingleCategory Archive Listing

    I want to have a News page that has text at the top and then shows only the archive of News category items below. The closest thing I found was this page https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Category_Templates but my Woo Themes template doesn’t have a clearly defined “loop”.

    Want my page to look like this below. Thanks!

    News (Title of Page)

    Lorem ipsum blah blah blah (static text)

    (Single “news” category archive listing)
    Entry 1
    Excerpt

    Entry 2
    Excerpt
