page text limit

Hi there
is their a limit to the amount of text you can input into a page. I had a page with quite a lot of text which all of a sudden went blank when published but not on my editing page.

I reducd the amount of the text; published the page and now it is live again. If I try to input any more text is disappears. many thanks
