page title

  • hello all,

    as a new user at wordpress, i want to ask what is the title that i see after the page name in the pages list ex.:

    Favorites — Wishlist Page
    Edit | Quick Edit | Trash | View

    Home — Front Page
    Edit | Quick Edit | Trash | View

    what is the “wishlist page” & “front page”?
    how can i change it or better remove it?

    1-are you using a plugin for “wishlist” – wishlist is not part of WordPress core functionality.

    2-are you interested in selecting a different page to serve as your front page?

    hi Lisa, thanks for your reply. yes i am using theme, but the wishlist and home page are newly created by me, i am just wondering why some pages have this after dash description and others don’t, what does this relate to, an how to remove this description if allowed?
