• I am trying to set different background colors for the page title background on each page of a website. In the editor, each page shows as a different color. When published, the page titles all take on the color of the last page I had opened in the editor. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  • Hello @purplepom,

Where did you edit the color?
The general settings for the page title background work for the whole site and are on Customizer > General Options > Page Title: https://postimg.cc/8sxdcg1q.

For each page, please go to that page’s backend; at the top and right, you can click the “O” icon, find the page title tab, and style them here: https://postimg.cc/6TRJbRpg.

    I hope it helps.

Hi Shahin. Thanks for the reply. I have edited each page as shown in your example, and each page shows a different color page title while I am still logged in to the editor and browsing through the different pages. When I publish and browse the site without being logged in, using an incognito window, the colors on each page are all the same as the last color I edited. They show differently when logged in than when logged out. When logged in all pages show the different colors for the page title, when logged out all pages show only one color on every page title, the color I last set in the editor. When I re-open the editor, each page shows it is set to a different color as shown in 2nd link example. It doesn’t show the theme color as in your 1st link. It shows whichever color I set last when editing each individual page. However, the editor shows each page set to its own unique color.

This shows the About page settings and how it displays logged out

This shows the Documents page which was the last color set (blue) and took over all page titles despite About still being set to purple.

I actually have two other websites where this feature works just fine and all pages have different color page titles. This website for some reason will only display one color regardless of the color settings on each page.

    Hello @purplepom,

It seems it’s a cache issue, if you have any cache plugin or server cache(CDN / Browser Cache and Cookies and …), you need to clear its cache contents or disable them to see your changes. Also, in Elementor, please don’t forget to click on the regenerate all assets file and data in Elementor > Tools; and finally use hard-refreshing keys and recheck the issue.

To refresh the page, please follow the steps explained in this link:
