page title issue

  • Using Yoast SEO on Avada theme.

    Settings for metas on post and page titles are %%title%% %%page%% %%sep%% %%sitename%%

    BUT when looking at the page’s source code (and what appears in Google search results and Screaming Frog analysis) is site name, then post/page title followed again by sitename.

    No matter how I try to change the meta title in the post or page, the actual title still starts with the site name.

    Does anyone have any answers?

    Anybody got any ideas why my page titles will not show what I want or expect them to when using Yoast SEO?
