Page Titles

  • I’ve somehow been able to create my first custom WordPress theme. I’m just about done but am scratching my head about something that should be pretty simple but has me puzzled.

    I need to include the site name in the page name.

    Currently, the page title (above the browser bar” are coming out like “Page – ” but I want them to read “Page – Our Site.”

  • You may want to install a plugin like WordPress seo by yoast. This will give you the ability to edit page titles easily.

    Normally the site title is pulled from the settings > General.

    Otherwise, your theme could be doing something funky. If you can provide a link to your site, we can have a look.

    I’m guessing it’s the theme itself. I probably just missed something.
