• I’ve looked everywhere I can think of, but I can’t seem to find anywhere that tells me how to control the way the page titles are structured.

For example, right now, my home page title is:

English | Languages | Site Title | Site Description

I’d really rather have my site title and site description display first, before the language, and I’d rather not have ‘Languages’ included in the page titles at all.

Is there some way to control or change these?

    Hi!

This should be controlled by your theme or possibly an SEO plugin.

If I disable Polylang, then the language and the word “Language” is no longer included in my page titles, so it’s definitely appearing that way because of the plugin. Is there some setting somewhere where I have control over that?

Obviously the “language” is introduced by Polylang. But the display is controlled by your theme (or possibly an SEO plugin). No need for a code specific to Polylang, since the language is a taxonomy it is exposed as all other taxonomies.
