Page titles showing up in sidebar

I am totally new to this, and have appreciated the support documentation for the Hueman theme so far… but I have found nothing about this…
The titles for the page on my home page (not others, it seems) are showing on my primary (right) sidebar. The title “Home” and below that a page which is called “thanks for subscribing” which is not supposed to show in menu at all, and I tried to hide it by making it child of Home(parent).
This “Home” title is also showing in the content area, so it’s redundant, and I want to clean it up.
Can you tell me where the controls for this are?
