Sorry to hear about that. I’ll do my best to help you figure out what’s wrong (though as a head’s up, I’m away from the computer for the next three days).

Here are some things you can do in the mean time:

    1. Make sure you’re using the most recent versions of this plugin, WordPress, and your theme.
    2. Try it with one of the Twenty ____ themes and see if that resolves the problem.
    3. If you know how to use Firebug or the Chrome Developer tools, load the widgets page with the “Console” open and see what error messages pop up.
    4. [If you haven’t already] Disable all the plugins except this one and then re-enable them one by one to see if you can target a conflict.

Once you’ve done as many of those things as you can, let me know what you find and, if possible, include a link to the problem site.

Thanks for your quick response. I disabled all my plug-ins and emptied my browser cache and it now seems to work. Thanks again.

Ok. That makes it sound like the problem is a plugin conflict.

If you’d like, I can try to understand what’s conflicting and whether I can fix it or need to report the issue to the other plugin’s author.

The only way to do this is to reactivate all other plugins, one-by-one, and then check to see if the Feature a Page Widget plugin breaks after each activation. When you activate a plugin and see that the widget no longer works, we’ll have our culprit and I can then run some tests with those two plugins to try to understand the issue.

We’ll leave this ticket marked as resolved for now, but if you can find the problematic plugin, we can reopen it.

Did you try turning off the “accessibility mode” under “Screen Options”?

That’s how I got this AMAZING plugin to work.

Thanks for mentioning accessibility mode. I am very embarrassed to admit that I had never tested it in accessibility mode. However, it looks like there’s a fairly easy fix, so I’ll try to push that out within the week.

Thanks for your comment! If you want to share your appreciation of the plugin with others, please consider reviewing it and voting on future features.
