Page tree not visible, dashboard problems

Version 1.2.34 does not display Pages correctly. When selected in Menu, no Page Tree is visible.
If set to display on Dashboard, no Dashboard is visible at all.
Post trees are shown OK, both in Menu and on Dashboard.This does not occur immediately, but after 1 page has been moved in the tree.
