Page update hangs after a few updates

  • Since updating to the latest version WP 3.7.1 I have experienced problems when updating pages. After logging into my WP installation I am able to update pages about 5 or 6 times and then after this when I hot the update button again the ‘spinner’ just keeps going round and the page freezes. I have tried changing browers to Chrome, Firefox and IE10 and also cleared all the browsing history and cookies but it makes no difference.

    I have checked with my hosting company (1&1) and they tell me there are no issues with their server.

    Anyone got any ideas or suggestions?
