Page views rocketing from potential spam

Hi,

I have recently started a wordpress site, https://www.c-techworld.com

I used the statsurfer plugin so I could monitor how many visitors and views I was getting on a daily basis.

Yesterday I noticed that one IP address was hitting my pages, well, not my pages from what I can tell, as the “Last Hits” section isnt showing them to be any of my urls, but instead one’s like;

/482_medoza.php
/.404.php
/3_config.php

and so on so forth, there are so many of them I can’t keep track, and as I’m not an expert, I have no idea what any of them mean.

So, yesterday when I first noticed, I noted the IP and passed it onto the guy who does my hosting and asked him if there was a way of blocking the IP and if so could he do it.

He replied saying sure no problem.

Then this morning I log in and the first thing I see is I have had 300 odd visitors with 1900 odd page views, and its constantly going up from this one IP.

Has anybody else had this problem? If so how did you resolve it? Any advice would be appreciated as Im going bonkers!
