On my PC, this site’s header image doesn’t view full-width. I tried changing the setting in customize and all it did was make the text over the image and the corresponding body text go full width.

I tried adding some css to tell the background-size to “cover”, but that didn’t seem to work either.

I am not familiar with this theme; can anyone make a suggestion on how I might fix this?

    Thank you!

  • By default, the theme doesn’t support a full width header image. Instead, the theme uses the Bootstrap-style navbar of a brand image on the left-hand side and the navigation menu on the right hand side.

You are welcome to set up a child theme and modify the header template!

Modifying the header template is outside of my “expertise”. I don’t do php or anything like that. Is there another way that you would suggest to accomplish this?

Someone suggested changing the child theme, but I assume that comes with some amount of complications?

    Thank you.

Unfortunately, what you’re trying to accomplish would be a code-level change to how the theme was designed. The best solution would be to work with a developer who is comfortable modifying the code.
