I just got the first page of my website put together with this theme… it has nice wide embedded video right at the the top. I’m happy with how its looking…

Then I go to set up the next page… and I can not get any of its content to exceed 700 pixels in width. I can copy the exact text code from the nice wide page… and paste it into the new one… and it will still be skinny.

I found a “customize theme” area where i can increase the “content width” value from 700px to 1200px… Which fixes the problem in the preview! But when i look back at my site, it has reverted back to the way it was before… No matter what I do, the “content width” always reverts back to 700px.
(all the more strange that the first page I made is still around 1200px wide!)

Any ideas as to how I can resolve this issue?

    Hello,

Sorry but I don’t understand your issue – all your subpages are wide – did you solved your issue?

I have the same issue described by OP, but none of my posts or pages are in the desired px width. If i make the change and save it, and reaccess the option in customise, it simply reverts to 700px.

@wiztek – could you send an e-mail with access to your back-end to our developer – dziudek[at]gavick[dot]com? Because he cannot reproduce your issue on his installation.

instead of reverting back to 700px mine goes to zero

    Sorry for the delay.
I ended up fixing it by going in and changing some values in “Conent.php” …
All of the pages became the width that i wanted…. except for that original page which was still slightly larger than the rest. I just deleted it, and rebuilt that page.

    Hello,

We have wrongly tested this case. There is a small bug connected with sanitization. Temporary fix is visible here: https://github.com/GavickPro/Portfolio-Free-WordPress-Theme/commit/1840b4fcb379f17d3a82846407f9059d59d0a8f5

It will be included in v.1.3.0 which will be ready in this week.

    Hello,

I have a similar question about the widths. I have been trying to solve it for hours but I just gave up and decided to ask your kind assistance. I just want to customise some of my pages’ width. I want to make their widths the same as the original first page width, which is 810px, and I want the rest pages to remain to have 700px width as default. I would highly appreciate your prompt response. Thank you very much in advance.

    Hello,

Unfortunately in this case you will have to use custom CSS code for it, because the theme supports only one width for the content.
