Page with parameters are treated differently

If I have a page that gets accessed in 2 ways:
https://example.com/page1/ and
https://example.com/page1/?utm_source=search&…The users on the page count is not the same, the plugin treats this situation like there are 2 different pages when in reallity all users are on the same page.
