• Ok, I have a very unusual issue. I have a page created that showed up in the list of pages on the navigation menu and the “pages” list in the sidebar – however, it is no longer showing up. This is the second time this has happened with the SAME page. I have 17 total pages on that site and some of them are specifically excluded from the navigation menu, but I have confirmed that this page ID did not accidentally get included in the list.

The first time this happened, I deleted the page and created it again. It was fine initially and then randomly has disappeared. If I go directly to the page permalink I get the page, but I need it in the menu. The title of the page is: HTP I — I also have HTP II, HTP III, and HTP IV and none of those pages have had the issue. The second time I created the page I made it: HTP-I thinking that the issue was possibly in the page title or the permalink (not that it made 100% sense for that to be the issue, but figured I would try that).

I am completely baffled – does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thank you,

    Liz Martinez

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

neither of those made a difference … deactivated plug-ins and the page still didn’t show … then I set it back to the default theme and still no change. This is very unusual and frustrating. I just can’t figure it out.
