page/2/ has dissappeard on all my archive.php pages?

  • Please excuse me this is my second post today, rest assured I have searched the forums thoroughly prior to asking!

    I’ve re-arranged my archive.php files and index.php files in themes template and I believe this may be the problem, but I cannot acces page/2/ of any of my archive pages?

    I have no problem listing however many posts I want, however when I click “Previous Posts” at the bottom of the page it simply brings me to an error 404 page?

    Any and all help is much appreciated!

    Also when I click on the /page/2/ link from one of my archive pages… it takes me to domain.com/category/page where page just happens to be the post-slug for that particular category… I have no idea what I’ve done here?!?! Thanks!
