Just moved a wordpress multisite child site. I have this interesting problem with the quick page redirect. I had a /deals/ page that went to some product deals. Now, if I put in website/deals/, I get “pageok”.

I deleted and reset, but the same thing happens. If I create a /deals2/, it redirects properly.

I tried flushing out the plugin and clearing the cache, but no change. I checked the domain records to make sure there wasn’t a redirect. Multisite does not have a “Deals” subdomain to inhibit.

    Thoughts?

  • The “pageok” message is a GoDaddy server message that usually means that something is not resolving correctly. This has nothing to do with the plugin itself.

Usually this error fixes itself within a few hours (according to GoDaddy), but if it does not, you may need to contact the GoDaddy support and see if they can help you resolve the issue.

You are right! I went back in and found on my root folder I created a “Deals” sub-folder. GoDaddy was referencing the sub-folder first. I removed it and my redirect happened.

    Thanks!

Not a problem – and thanks for the update for others with the same issue.

    Warm regards,
    Don
