Page.php displaying blog articles

hey guys.

for some or other reason, my page.php template is displaying my blog articles instead of the page’s content. the title tag that has the single_post_title (to display article/page name in title), displays the page’s title correctly, the the content is displaying the blog article, not the page’s contents…

any help please?
