page.php help

Hi guys, Im newbie here and i need help with page.php.

I want to change the layout of my pages, i dont mean on Main Page, the first one that opens after entering my page.
I added new page called “News” and now i want to change the whole look of it. I saw page.php and when i deleted all the code from there, my page was blank, that is what i wanted. But now, all the other pages are blank too. So my question is, how can i change the look of each page? Because when I change page.php all of them change at same time and look same.
