2 seconds on localhost, sure. Ever hosted with Hostgator?
Yes, I have worked on a number of sites at Hostgator and other brands under their hosting parent company, Endurance International Group.
The post/page update times never exceeded 2 seconds. (and really, update times on localhost should be well below 1 second)
I thought you came here for support, which is why I started with basic troubleshooting; basic troubleshooting which should take probably 15 minute at most, yet this thread has been here with no action on your part for over a day.
If you do not want to work with us to solve the problem, then I suggest you hire someone to do the troubleshooting for you, via either https://jobs.wordpress.net/ or https://directory.codepoet.com/ and do not accept any hire offers posted to these forums.
If you would like to continue here, for free, please reply with the results of the already provided basic troubleshooting steps, which for the sake of simplicity are as follows:
Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.
If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Fifteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
If you reply with the results, we will gladly assist you in correcting the problem you’re having.
