Pages

Hi,

I’m a little bit confused so i was hoping someone can help.

I have created a custom theme. Which is working ok. But i dont know if im using wordpress correctly, i have multiple pages i.e about, contact, gallery etc these are all based around my index.php theme. Ive just changed the template name to each page name.

Then i link the page within wordpress console….

When i click edit page within the console the page content box is empty. Is this correct, all should i be able to see the code for the page within the box?

Should i be using different template names for each page?

?>
