    Hi Ben,

I love how unique this theme is for a blog! I am not great with code, so I will start off with that…. but I haven’t put any extra coding in to my blog yet. I have only been customizing it through the options given to me and somehow have already messed that up.

I have created an about page and a contact page (that one uses the contact form 7 plugin). But in your menu customization area I set two menus (your theme offers three I believe) with both of those in one and a different set of pages in another. Those other pages have sub categories. All of those in that menu were created in the customization section offered and not through the wordpress dashboard page area. Does that make a difference? When I view my site they are all there in the right place, but every single page is only showing the contact form. My pages in the larger menu I would think should be blank right now since I haven’t put anything on them yet, not pointing to the contact page. And my about page is just non existent. Please let me know what to do to fix this! I feel like I haven’t come very far and I already hit a block hah :/

    My website is:

    Thanks for choosing Tracks!

What’s happening is that every menu item is leading to the Contact page. In the menu editor (either one works fine), check to see if the Contact page is not being reused and just given a different label for the other menu items.

THANK YOU for your quick response!

So I went into my menu editor and all of my subcategories are fine. However, all of my pages in the description say
    Original: Contact
That must be what is causing it, but I don’t see a way to edit that….

I also don’t see the pages I created under the customize theme section for the menu showing up with my others when I click on pages. I only see the about page and contact page to edit/publish. The site is set up right (despite this pointing to contact issue) so what is going on here? Do I have to recreate those pages to be able to edit them? I just want all my sub categories to be visible on them for someone to view organized posts. Is it set up to where they can only do this from the menu and not go to an actual page to view the different categories?

You should be able to link to any page or category you want from either menu.

I believe what’s happened is that the Contact page is being used for each menu link, but the label has been changed. For instance, the Contact page was added and then re-labeled as “About” which is why it leads to the Contact page.

I would recommend trying to edit the menu or create a new one via the Menus page in your dashboard (Appearance > Menus). There is a section on the left-side where you can select all the pages you want to add: https://www.competethemes.com/wp-content/plugins/help-content/images/setup-menus/add-to-menu.png

Then, to add category links, you’ll want to select the Categories section on the left-side and then repeat the same process to add the links: https://www.competethemes.com/wp-content/plugins/help-content/images/setup-menus/categories-section.png

We also have detailed tutorials on making and editing menus you can follow here in the Tracks Support Center: https://www.competethemes.com/help/customize-menu-tracks/. There are lots of images and the process is explained well there.

Thank you for the links! I re-did all of it and now it magically works haha. I’m sure those tutorials will come in handy for future use so I appreciate it ??
