  • Absolutely! YOAST SEO causes my website to crash. It’s the new counting links feature that is the culprit. Please, remove it.

    Now downgrading.

    Thanks.

@sign58 Sometimes strange behavior may be caused by a plugin or theme conflict. The fastest way to rule out conflicts is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Seventeen. If this resolves the issue, you have a conflict and should activate one plugin at a time until you locate the conflict. Finally, after all plugins are active, switch to your theme. This will narrow down the conflict to a specific plugin or a theme conflict. Can you please inform us of the results?

@miroruse If you have a similar issue, please open a new request. That way it’s easier to track issues and provide assistance. Thanks! That being said, you can disable the Text link counter feature under “SEO > Dashboard > Features”

    Thanks @monbauza!
For the time being I’m sticking to ver. 5.0 with Counting activated. No problems. The problems started with updating to 5.0.2

    Thanks.

Hi @monbauza unfortunately disabling all plugins and the template still does not see the list of pages and articles, it seems that the pages are blocked because even the top right buttons (screen settings and help) do not open their menus.
Having many sites with wordpress 4.8 I checked all and the only ones who do not have this problem are those where Yoast Seo is not updated to 5.0.2).
    Regards.

I can confirm the same issue. Starts with 5.0.2.

You can file a bug report for the Yoast SEO plugin in the following GitHub repository: https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo
