I just created the “About” and “Credit” pages for my site through WP. I see that Pages are classified under categories too. What is the point of that and how can I change the category of a Page?

    ???

I know you can create a hierarchy of Pages (parent-child relationships), but categories?

Normally (what is “normal” nowadays???) the Pages do not have categories. However, in certain themes, especially if they don’t have a page-template, the default category link might be displayed even on Pages – since they use the index template. Of course, if you click on it, it takes you to the posts’ default category.

So it’s an issue of a theme falling back upon template defaults for Pages? At least I understand that (I don’t like that I understand it, though).

I’m using the Minima Plus theme and that’s probably why. Is there a quick fix for that?
    Thanks!

Fuzzy > create a page template, a file named page.php and starting from the index.php for example just get rid of everything you don’t need (and add whatever you need).

Kafka > after reading about the comments.php falling back to the default if missing in a theme… I guess I thought what you thought ??
