Pages and posts randomly deleted

Today I noticed that the website I’m working on for someone else was broken. A bunch of pages and blog posts were deleted, then some were moved to drafts. It ended up breaking our site and we were worried we had lost a lot of valuable content. We do have a lot of people with access to the site but everyone I spoke with said they did not delete the content. My employer said it may have been because of a plugin, but we hadn’t uploaded or updated any plugins in the last couple of days at least. Is there a way to check to see which admin deleted the pages and posts and when? We have already recovered the content but would like to figure out what went wrong so we can avoid this issue in the future.
