Have a WP running for nearly a couple of years using Photocrati plugin and worked pretty smooth until a couple of days ago. I did modify or update anything.

I could add images to the gallery, but could not save the gallery, this on a Page featured as the index page.

I could not add images through the Posts, the “Add Media” button was dead. Host was no help since I manually installed per their techs suggestion since they offer, but it is an alias set-up causing other issues.

Back it all up and reinstalled WP via the “Reinstall WP” the button and now both Page and Post the type is white and the only way to see it is highlight it. The Photocrati Gallery is named, but not there. The text and visual tab change nothing when clicked.

Is this common? I have seen the white on white type issue several years ago, but do not recall how it resolved.

Would it be better to completely manually reinstall?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello :),

Before you go for WP reinstall, firstly update the plugins in your installation. So that they will have latest version which will be compatible with the new version of the WordPress.

Once all the plugins are up to date, click on Re-install WordPress.

Else you may need to reinstall the plugin Photocrati Gallery.

    Hope this can help.

    Thanks.
