Pages are countet 2x separately

  • Hi Team,
    I usw GADWP since years and now the first time an error occured:
    In the Widget on my wordpress dashboard the same pages are counted two times separately – please see screenshot: https://www.motoreport.de/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/2times.jpg
    Can you help me?
    I also run AMP pages on motoreport.de/AMP but they never have been counted two times for the same page…

  • Hi There,

    Even if the title is identical, site.com/ and site.com/amp/ are different pages as far as analytics is concerned.

    No changes have been made to EM that would affect this.

    If you didn’t notice this previously, then perhaps the AMP traffic increased so it’s appeared in those stats now, while previously it was lower on that screen.

    I don’t have a great answer for you right now since this the way analytics currently works at this time.

    One option would be to use Native mode for AMP by Automattic, however, then all the pages would appear as AMP, even for desktop.
