pages are showing the featured Picture twice

  • One image, the large one, is automatically shown if a featured image is set for a page. The other one is the one you insert into the textbox of the page itself.

    To remove the big one from being auto-inserted, remove this from page.php/child-menu.php:

    <?php get_template_part('inc/page-image'); ?>
